I grew up in Australia with a love for interiors that started embarrassingly early. While other kids were outside playing, I was rearranging my bedroom furniture and cutting pictures out of home magazines to stick on my walls. My mum thought it was a phase. It was not a phase.
I decorated and renovated on whatever budget I had at the time, learned through trial and error, and made plenty of paint colour choices I still cringe about.
Then my husband, our daughter Ella, and I moved from Australia to the United States. We packed up our lives—and about thirty boxes of décor items I refused to leave behind.
My mum thought it was a phase.

Home Lovely Mag may have started with my personal decorating experiments, but it has grown into a collaborative publication.
As the site expanded, I wanted to bring in Megan who shared the same belief that home and outdoor improvement should feel practical, inspiring, and achievable.
